This site is dedicated to Software Development Firestarter events. A "firestarter" is an event designed to teach developers a new technology from start to finish in one day.  An event starts with introductory content and leads all the way through building an application in the specific technology.

This site serves several purposes:

1)  Provide a location for people to find Firestarter events.
2)  Provide a place to find content to create a Firestarter event in your city.
3)  Serve as a technical resource for those looking to learn something new.
